And the World Welcomes...
Elise Jane Oka. She was born last Wednesday, November 17th, 2010 (the day before her due date) at 6:45 pm after a day of contractions and only about 4-5 hours in the hospital. She is absolutely perfect and we can't get enough of those adorable cheeks! I feel great - we left the hospital as soon as we could (exactly 24 hours after delivery) and have been keeping busy ever since, but still taking plenty of time to hold, kiss, and nap with little Elise. Much thanks to Shane's mom, and my dad for helping us out in turns, and thanks to Shane's family who is coming back this week to cook Thanksgiving dinner and spend some time with our two girls. Without further ado, here she is!
