Yesterday I finally decided to give in to my guilt and go to ward choir. Our church is normally at 11:00 and choir starts at 10:15 (which is about when the other ward should be out of the chapel). Brookie and I arrived a little bit late, and as we were heading in to the chapel to practice, I got stopped in the hall by someone I needed to talk to. Brookie ran right past me and into the chapel (which I thought was empty since that's where we were going to practice). I figured I would let her run around in the pews for a minute while I finished my conversation, and then go and reclaim her. A moment or two later, I realized that the reason that everyone was still standing in the hall was because the earlier ward had gone WAY over and the last speaker was still pontificating. Mortified, I ran to the door of the chapel to see where on earth Brookie would have gone in the chapel when it was still FULL of people. I saw one of my friends from BYU who happens to be in that ward (what are the chances?) carrying her down the aisle to where I was standing in the door of the chapel. When she reached me she whispered, "Brookie walked in and walked right up to the stand and sat down. I figured since I knew who she was, I should probably go claim her." After the meeting when I went to thank her for saving me the embarrassment of having to run up to the front of someone else's Sacrament Meeting, her husband said, "Everyone watched her just walk right up to the front - it was pretty entertaining, we were just sad that she didn't get us out of that long meeting by yelling "fire" or something". Well, needless to say, I think I'll be a little more careful to watch Brookie even when I think I know where she is and what she's doing. How could someone this cute be such a rascal?

How could she be a rascal if she wasn't so cute? :D
hahahahah that is so hysterical!
Haha she is really cute! And really, someone needed to let the speaker know that time was up. ;) Might as well be a cutie! And I am so glad you had nice friends in that ward!! And yay for going to ward choir. That's something I miss about BYU wards. It was so easy to get a huge group of people to go to choir back then. Now we all have families and callings with obligations and etc. Sigh. We average about six people. :(
I just called your old number all excited, and then the girl said "this is Corey" :( What is your new number? email it to scoutsmadre@gmail.com
